January 18, 2010 Mormon Trail

On MILK Day we took a family hike to South Mountain and hiked the Mormon Trail to find Fat Man's Pass. We didn't find the real one, but one that worked for us. It was a great hike. Probably 3 miles total and the kids did great! Little Vern hiked pretty much the entire thing. What a trooper. The weather was perfect...overcast and a little drizzle every so often. We love going on hikes! Especially new ones.

December 31, 2009 Two Benjamins

At the Pace Reunion our Benjamin met his 2nd Cousin Benjamin Thompson. Hopefully, they can be good friends one day.

December 25, 2009 Christmas Morning

The kids were nice and waited for the boys to wake up around 6:30am. They watched the LDS DVD for Christmas while they waited. They enjoyed getting their stockings and opening gifts. We spent the day at the Grandma Wolfley's where we ate well and played all day long.

December 21, 2009 Mesa Temple Lights

We went and saw the beautiful lights at the Mesa LDS Temple. Always a good thing to see and feel the Christmas Spirit.

December 24, 2009 Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at the Rapier Home. We ate very well and had a wonderful display with The Nativity from Luke II.

The Rapiers, Wolfleys and Rockwoods met at the Rockwoods home for the Traditional Gingerbread House Build. It went well as we worked with smaller homes this year. The kids are getting better at building their own homes.
