On August 3, 2009 Aaron Wolfley became 2nd Lt. Aaron Wolfley in the US Marines. We got to go watch him be commissioned as an US Marine. We are proud of the hard work he has put into his decision to join the military. We wish him luck in all he does. Sempre Fi!

Wolfley Summer Birthday Party
On August 2nd we celebrated all the Wolfley Birthday's from June to August. There are just a few; Joyce, Chelsea, Emilie, Warren, Ammon, Kindy, Doug, Elena, Grandpa Wolfley, Abigail, and Benjamin. What a group!

Our July
Elena went to Swim Team at Litchfield Park Lagartos. She loved it and learned a lot in swimming. I was ever so grateful for the baby pool that the kids swam in during her lessons, also for carpooling with the Galloways.
We swam at the YMCA pool, where Elena and Natalie jumped off the diving board and loved it. Vern and I spent our early mornings working out at the YMCA.
The kids loved eating lunch or dinner at the neighbor school as the offered free meals during the summer. I loved not having to prepare and clean up after each meal. They loved the variety and the ice cream.
We visited the Heard Museum with the Rockwood cousins and had a great time looking at many different Native American items, watching native dances and making crafts. It was fun and best of all...free.
On July 22nd Vern and I attended the musical "Wicked" at Gammage Auditorium in Tempe. It was a great performance. After listening to the music for 2 + years I finally understand the story. It was wonderful.
Before we knew it summer came to an end at the end of July and Elena and Natalie were ready for school. It was a fun, relaxed summer that went way to fast!
Happy 4th of July!

A few hours to Ourselves
On June 2nd, Vern and I were able to get a few hours to ourselves thanks to a wonderful mother and sister-in-law. Thank you! We went to the Salt Lake Temple. It was a neat experience. It was Vern's first time there. The Temple is gorgeous and the atmosphere can't be topped. For once I saw someone I knew from NY there. The Rikers, a couple from Rochester, are on a mission at the Family History Center. Usually whenever we go somewhere, Vern runs into people he knows. This time I won.
We enjoyed out time together, it was the first time in a while. Every couple needs that time.
