Spring Training

On March 6th we went to a Spring Training Game in Surprise, AZ.

My boys and I along with my nieces, met Vern to watch a KC Royals game verse the San Diego Padres. It was a beautiful day! I even remembered to put sunscreen on the kids. The kids brought their gloves and a few soft baseballs. Vern spent the time throwing the ball for the kids to catch...which meant if they missed it rolled down the hill and they got to slide after it (Ben loved it). The kids didn't follow the game very well...but we enjoyed visiting with Vern for a while.

Now the boys keep asking to play baseball.
